Also, I used UV editor which allows you to put a 2D texture on a 3D object.
This is my version of the bottle caps from Fallout 4 and I made them in Maya.
I used different tools to make it look like a bottlecap such as Lambert which will put a material of your choice on to the object that you want.
3D Design
Furthermore, I created a low poly car but I didn't finish it. The way I created it was by using a pipe and changing its inputs. Also, I made an area where the tires can go Duplicate it so it would match then I used the bridge tool to join them together.
With the tires I used a cylinder and I made the middle of the cylinder to look like the trim of the tire.
This was made on the first day I did 3D design and the objects in the image on the left are basic because I was new to Maya so the objects aren't as good as this one. With this image below you can tell I learned more as the weeks progressed as I used different tools I didn't know when I was starting on 3D design. I used a tool called EP Curve Tool which allows you to draw a silhouette of the object you want and once you have finished making the silhouette, you revolve the object so it would make a polygon of the object.
I made this Mario Star with a cylinder but with changed properties so the the shape can look like the star. Furthermore, I added a texture of the star from Mario and with UV mapping I stretched the planar so it can fit the star perfectly.
I created this pumpkin with a sphere but with changed properties to make the sphere look like a pumpkin. To make the stalk I used a cylinder and moved the vertices so it have a have a curve. Furthermore, the face was created with the multi-cut tool I used an image which had the face on it and I cut around the shape of the face and put it on the pumpkin.
The Sonic Ring was made by a torus which had different attributes and added a lambert to the torus to make have a golden colour to it so it can look like the ring.
This is meant to be a Halo helmet but I wasn't focused on the task but when I get back into the routine of college the work might look more better than this one.
This is meant to be a axe but it looks terrible like the helmet I'll do better if I was at college because the teachers can see what my work so they can help me fix it.
