Graphics Showpiece (Caitlin's work)
This was made in Adobe Photoshop, I used different tools to use to make this such as Bevel and Emboss which will make the picture look 3D. After that I changed the colour overlay to blue and lower it to 25%. Also, I added a texture so it goes with the image. In addition, you can double click on the reclaimer layer which will bring up a menu that will have a variety of adjustments to your layer. Finally, you want to apply the outer glow style to your image using the adjustments menu.
The Skyrim Sigil was made by using Bevel and Emboss so it could look like it was in 3D. Also, I used layer styles which add drop shadows, stroke and colour overlays. With drop shadows I used Blend mode so the shadow can blend into the background.
In Graphics showpiece, we used software like Photoshop which was used to show use the different uses of it such as layer styles, blending, filters and image alteration.
I made this in the first day of graphic showpiece so was made in photoshop with the brush tool the basic photoshop tool because it was the first day and we had to get used to photoshop as we used it for the rest of the term.
This was made in photoshop near the start of college and it was made to see if we can get two images to act as one image.
Furthermore, I got to know how Layer Masks work in Photoshop so a layer mask is a layer that can keep an image from being damaged. If you want to get rid of a background on an image you would use the erase tool but with the eraser tool you can't get the right areas to remove but with the layer mask you can erase some of the image and the image still fine as you are on a different layer.
This was made in Photoshop, only by the brush tool and I used the line brush which covers an area on the image which can be filled with colours. Also, I used the adjustment menu which was used to apply the effects on the image.
